Daylight saving ends........
Don't forget daylight saving ends again on 5 April, so do
remember to turn your clocks back one hour.
Training
centre open
We've now converted the former nurses’ accommodation
rooms into a state of the art training area for caregivers
and other members of staff. Practical, educational courses
will be run from these rooms, which are situated on the ground
floor of Main Block.
There is a separate entrance so we're going to make it available
for public and external business community bookings for functions
or business meetings. Our own caterers or external caterers
can be used for these external bookings and there are modern
kitchen facilities and off street parking.
"We believe training is critical for our staff and at
Sprott House we are committed to quality of care. Our staff
have the opportunity to attend lectures and seminars given
by health professionals which include a full education and
upskilling programmes designed to meet the needs of our Registered
Nurses and Caregivers.
New
caterers on board!
As from the 1st April 2009 we are delighted to announce that
we have a new Catering Organisation who will take care of
all of our dietary needs.

10.30am each day.
On
site parking
We have recently had to review the parking situation at Sprott
House. We regret any inconvenience that may have been caused
to any of our families visiting. As you are aware we have
a lower car park and a top car park. The top car park has
been marked for training car parking only. However unless
there is a sign to signify that we have a training day, visitors
are welcome to use this space.
